More than 40,000 people study, lecture, research and work at Necmettin Erbakan University. Our university was established in 2010 under the name of Konya University and was renamed Necmettin Erbakan University in 2012. Again, in the same year, the deep-rooted academic units of Selçuk University, which has been carrying out higher education activities in the ancient capital city of Konya for many years, such as Education, Theology, Medicine, Seydişehir Engineering, and Ereğli Education were transferred to our University and our university has completed its establishment with its newly established academic units. With our faculties, some of which have a deep-rooted history of more than 60 years, and the experience we have packed into 11 years as Necmettin Erbakan University, there is life in six different (Köycegiz, A. Keleşoğlu, Sağlık, Ereğli, Seydişehir and 15 Temmuz) campuses. Our students, who still want to do something after a long day of education, can choose from a wide range of activities, from sports and cultural activities to student activities in our campuses and the social areas around them. This is because this is a campus where students who can't stay still produce constantly. This is a big and lively city.

Necmettin Erbakan University believes in students' ability to think for themselves. Campus life is as diverse as the people who teach, learn or otherwise engage here. Diversity, openness and social inclusion are the unwritten values of our campus. Our 152 Communities of Students awaits students at our university to experience and live on campus. Communities of Students are the interfaces of campus and off-campus life. The cultural vitality of campus life is asked of the Students' Unions. In particular, they organize ideas and events in different fields for solidarity that will shorten the social adaptation of first-year students. You don't have to make an effort to find them. They reach you through all communication channels where they can make their voices heard.

Necmettin Erbakan University receives scholarship support from the Necmettin Erbakan University Foundation (NEVA). Its focus is on students. The Foundation wants to fund more students each year than the previous year.

 

Thousands of young people from all over Turkey and 95 different countries decided to come to Necmettin Erbakan University. Students chose from an impressive range of subjects from Aviation Management to Social Sciences, Global Studies to Medical Sciences. In addition, courses in Law, Health, Foreign Language, Music, Professional Development and many different fields for young people are organized in the centers of our University. Beyond our educational curricula, these courses aim to increase core competencies and interpersonal skills, and offer opportunities for students' personal development in different fields. Since its establishment, Necmettin Erbakan University has meticulously followed an education policy that requires close links between research, practice and contribution to society, and university education. Projects such as SOBE (Seljuk Autistic Individuals Education Foundation), MEGA (Meram Development Academy), SEDEP (Seljuk Values Education Program) and SIA (Social Innovation Agency) have been established to ensure this close connection. You learn, apply, and take to the field for a social welfare project.

Other important actors of campus life are the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center and Artı Career Center. These centers, which contribute to your confidence and development by providing comprehensive support in every field individually, are the guides of your university life and your future.
